The Tragedy Of Juliet and Romeo Montagues and Capulets have fought all their lives. Romeo falls in love with Juliet, the moment he sees her. But what if she never liked him back? Have a small recap on Romeo & Juliet here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/guides/zxrjfrd/revision/1#:~:text=It%20is%20a%20tragic%20love,being%20separated%20from%20one%20another. “No Romeo, I never thought about you that way," Juliet said, sitting in the brim of the window in her room. Romeo had climbed all the way up to her window. He looked disappointed but didn’t lose the spirit. “Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight! For I ne’er saw true beauty till this night”, he expressed. Juliet frowned. “Well, you’re just 16. Trust me, there are more beautiful people than me. Also, stick to normal language. It’s hard to catch up”, she said. “You remember you kissed me? How would you explain that?”, Romeo questioned her back. She swallowed in confusion. “Romeo, I’m barely 13. What do you expect me to ...

Ankit! I named my script Ankit! I was so happy, as this was my second full script. Even though I had written a serious script first, this felt more fun and close to heart! It's about a boy, crossings limits to find her girl! I wrote it in the most emotional and humorous way, ever possible! Ever possible!

I met Chandana and Cherishma after a period of time, and we decided to shoot something. As Chandana was a vegetarian, we couldn’t shoot birds nor animals. So, we settled down to shoot a film. I came home happy that day. I was in Cloud Nine, but that did not last long. I did not have a proper storyline or, to be precise, nothing. I had to do something, sat down to write something, and then the document Ankit stood in front of me.

Sorry, Ankit, am gonna change your Gender da! I didn’t even think of casting them in Ankit’s girlfriend, as, they never appear on the screen. So, I reworked that story in about 4 hours, because, I swaged to say the storyline that day, without even having the basic idea. I changed Ankit to Anrutha and turned the whole script to a female based script. I sent it to the crew and they said they were really happy. That sounds to be a satisfying day right!

The first Poster I created For This Film.

Here comes the bomb. We met up shortly to discuss the story, and no one read the story properly. They went inside, ‘Aiyo, Raama, 14 pages ah’ and they came out. They all assembled in front of me and asked me to narrate the entire script once. There started all the comedy. I narrated the story as worse as I could. So much of logical errors and so much of interruptions. But at last, we set off to work with the left out confidence we had.

I had already mentioned that Chandana had to hit Kanda with a Scooty earlier, In her article. After she said I could not drive and all, I didn’t waste time teaching her and all. I thought I worked very smart, to save time. I recast the character with Cherishma. I knew she could drive and all. So what's the problem here? There’s always a bomb, waiting for you.

Cherishma is a Telugu based girl. And she speaks broken Tamil with English at most of the places. When I gave her the dialogue, I saw her struggle to deliver her dialogues. So, I altered the dialogues as much as I could and then gave her. This time, I found her struggle too. But she performed really well. That opened up the door of Hope a little longer in me. I thought she was nervous and decided to conduct a rehearsal.

Now, for people who are not familiar with this stuff, rehearsals are done to bring the performers to a comfort zone and make them familiar with the character’s behavior and stuff. People normally rehearse a scene or a sequence from the main story. That was what I planned too. But the situation went out of control, as soon as we went to the terrace. I was no longer the director. Kanda and Kishore took up the role and created a thriller story. Well, obviously, no way related to my story.

They gave a small role for me to act too. I was happy until they said the character for me. The role they gave me showed their revenge, for the torture I had done to them. A Handsome, Young, Teen, Charming, Beggar. See, perhaps, they created this role solely, for casting me in it. But to be true, we saw another dimension of fun that day.

Cherishma’s boyfriend dies, being stabbed by a masked person in front of her. She has to cry until the police come into the scene and find out the killer. Simple story, right? But They added masala, wherever they could. They wanted to keep the viewers surprised every second. But their plot twists surprised us too.

I am the beggar, who is poor enough, to sleep inside the Café Coffee Day, where Cherishma and the boyfriend met. Yeah, I laughed too, but those ‘Russo’ brothers didn’t give an explanation for this. So yeah, I was in the story at first, as the only eye victim to see the killer. But as soon as the directors took the role of the FBI, they decided to find the killer themselves, In an intelligent way.

The Russo Brothers, the Kingmakers of this fun! Thanks Jaiesh, For The Cameo Appearance!

An important note people, according to our story, there were no CCTV cameras in Café Coffee Day. So think twice before losing your purse or wallet there. The FBI wanted to find the killer in the most brilliant way, so, they stuck a sellotape to The boyfriend’s shirt, and they told all of us to imagine it as a hidden camera. Both the FBI in the film fought for some time, and at the end, Kishore convinced Kanda that he wanted to be the brilliant police, who finds the hidden camera. Even a blind person, 634Km far from the body, could find that tape easily. It was that obvious. But both of them weren’t ready to explain, why a normal boyfriend would have a hidden camera in his shirt.

We laughed a lot. Then I tried to kickstart the film several times. But we couldn’t even start the film. We kept on being playful. So, I decided to keep Anrutha shelved. This was rather fun than, shooting the real film!
