“I’d like to thank the honorable Chief Guest Arputham, my department HOD Verona, my co-ordinator Jeyaraj, my best friend Deepan, the faculty, and fellow students who spent their valuable time being here!” Pavithra ended the event, which was followed by thundering applause. I was awestruck by her daring act of including my name in the Valedictory speech. Most of them didn’t seem to notice, but her HOD was stunned and confused by her sudden inclusion in their decades-old template. Pavithra winked from the stage and disappeared into the crowd that escorted the chief guest. Pavithra and I’ve been friends for almost three hundred days now, ever since she texted me after reading my blog. She was the first enthusiastic fan outside of my friends for my writing. She genuinely loved all my works and pointed out the few she didn’t. She had invited me to her college for a random workshop on “Girls and how they should be protected.” It was the most backward speech I’ve heard in years. But of co...

Revisiting The ‘Why Not’ Girl! ❤

Revisiting The ‘Why Not’ Girl! ❤

So, any guesses who is the ‘Why Not’ girl? Of course, you would know. You would’ve seen the photo preview right! Don't get offended. I sincerely appreciate those geniuses who genuinely found out. This sequel is made for the 17th birthday of a genius I know (Yeah, I can hear you. She's my friend, but still manages to stay genius). It’s our very renowned celebrity, Chandana.

Unpredictable, Surprising, Foodie, Dominator (Not Terminator, read it again), and Always Hungry, were the keywords in my last blog for her. She was really tough to write last time, as it was to be funny and well-explaining at the same time. This time, it turns out it had got only tougher. You guys have any idea how tough a sequel is?

Not just any sequel, it's on Chandana.

Modern this time.

Her blog was the top-read article for a long time. I was surprised why this happened. I mean, she deserves it, but still, I wondered how. I found that she was really an interesting person. So I decided to make a sequel on her birthday.

She regularly started to read my articles, and would say me the feedback. I was happy to hear “I’m frequently visiting your blog.’’ Later only I got to know, she repeatedly read her own article. This was also a reason, why I wanted to present another set of 600 On the other hand, I had an equal amount of criticisms too. For content? No. Spelling mistakes and improper grammar would be sufficient to provoke the professor in her. Hey wait, I have to go up these paragraphs to check for any mistakes.

She is the only person who could be excited for someone's bday as if it's hers. She was counting days before my birthday and was like celebrating my birthday more than I did. She has this special love for birthdays. No matter who's it is. Perhaps, this is one of the main reasons, am excited to see how she is gonna celebrate her own birthday.

Coming to the title, the most important fact I missed the last time, is the phrase “Why Not”. But I would’ve mentioned that she’s the type of girl who has answers for all types of questions. If you can connect both of ‘em now, you’re genius. For those who are like me, here’s the explanation, upcoming.

*Candid Went Too Candid*

Why did you buy KitKat while there’s Dairy Milk? ‘Why Not?’

Why did you add cinnamon in Maggi? ‘Why Not?’

Why did you post a story about love while you’re still 17? ‘Why Not?’

What type of girl is the one in Deepan's recent article? ‘Why Not?’

Ignoring my self-promotion, just try to find what am trying to tell. She doesn’t think about the question we asked. Instead, she makes us think about our own questions. She had sent me to a state of depression, because, I would instantly regret asking anything to her. But, sometimes (only sometimes), it's fun to answer. Reading all this, don’t let the fear get up to your head, you’ll get to know how to speak with her. Yes, I will have the answer to my question, If am asking one. (*Insert Modern Problems Require Modern Solutions Meme*)

This is the first birthday I am going to remember with full consciousness. That doesn't mean I was drunk and sleeping last time. I would've wished her, definitely. Nevermind. I just want to celebrate her birthday, like she cheered up mine. If you feel like wishing her, feel free to search @madhu_shree_03 on Instagram and message her. She would love to grab all your wishes.

Chandana is a really great dancer. This lockdown, Her expressions, and her terrace have been great friends for her to explore more into her dancing skills. Never been a rustic fan of dance before. Ahhhhhh! I can’t resist saying this. Even though she hates Rashmika Mandanna, I will have to say this. Vangala Chandana Naga Venkata Sathya Sai Madhu Shree (Aiyayo, I used that 'Additional Sheet' already!), forgive me for the sin am about to commit. Her dance is ‘Never Before, Ever After.’

She would definitely hate me.

Have a great 17. Do big things, so that I'll have more content for another sequel next year!

Happy Birthday Chandana!
